From Gatsby Age to Ellington, from Basie to the Jazz Messengers, her bands (Corina Kwami & the Swing Selection’ and Corina’s ‘Jazz Age Dance Band,’) have dazzled international festivals (Berlin Solo Jazz Festival, Copenhagen Lindy Exchange, Nighthawks, Cambridge Lindy Exchange, Swingfest) and London’s lindy hop dance scene (Swingland, the Mildmay, Bishopsgate).
An accomplished lindy hop and solo jazz dancer herself, she is at home with solo jazz, tap and swing dances lindy - blending West African dance and latin rhythms routed in movement and story-telling. See press kit here!
