She impressed immediately with her powerful voice, before delivering a fine scat solo. Definitely a name to watch out for, she has a single out on iTunes which you should check out.

"Jazz is a social music" as Miles Davis is credited with saying. As a social music, dance is one of the many ways to communicate. As a performer, I have conducted master classes and workshops on the music and dances of jazz from the twenties through the late 1950s annually in a residency program supported by the American Cultural Association in Morocco.

Welcome addition of Kwami’s vocal and tap-dance solo on ‘Puttin’ On the Ritz’.

Continuing the tradition of jazz as a social music, I enjoy collaborating with big bands across Europe. This Berlin-based band (Kind of Dukish) made its debut at Herrang Dance Camp, which is the longest, running swing dance festival hosted in Sweden every summer for the last 25 years.
